Dr. Leslie Baumann is the author of The Skin Type Solution and is the founder of the University of Miami’s internationally recognized Cosmetic Center. She has developed a questionnaire which divides skin types into sixteen categories. Customizing your own skin care is much easier when you know more than whether your skin is simply dry, oily or combination.

By taking the questionnaire, you will be helping genetic research being conducted by the University of Miami. The study is on the effect of environment vs. genetics around the world. They will not use any identifying information, but will need your gender, birth year, ethnicity, and country. You, in turn, will learn some valuable information about your special skin type.
